SELHS NEWS SELHS received $3.25 million from the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act (Stimulus) to aid in the rennovations of 333 North Arch Street and the expansion of dental services at 625 South Duke Street. Both projects are projected to be complete by the end of 2010. SELHS received $1,000 from the Lancaster Walmart to provide prenatal care to uninsured and under-insured women in Lancaster County. SELHS received $40,000 from the Ada Harr Fund for our "SouthEast Where You Are" home visit program and $22,395 from the Better Lancaster Fund for our "Baby's First Doctor" program for prenatal and pediatric patients. Both competitive grants are administrered through the Lancaster County Community Foundation. |

SELHS needs volunteers to serve on committees in relation to the renovations of its new 333 North Arch Street property. Interested parties should email Dan Jurman, Director of Development, at djurman@selhs.org. SELHS needs new and gently used books for its Reach Out and Read program.
